Compounds based on PA 6 and PA 66

The ALAMID® base polymers are noted for their high toughness and hardness. These materials´ excellent abrasion resistance and high heat deflection temperature, coupled with their good resistance to oils, greases, low alcohol concentrations, esters and ketones, mean that ALAMID® compounds can be used for functional engineering parts that are subject to special requirements.

Range

Glass fibre reinforcement up to 65%. Other types of reinforcement, including glass spheres, minerals, carbon fibres, aramid and metal powders. Also available are grades with dry and low-temperature impact strength, grades with flame retardant treatment, antistatic grades, electrically conducting grades, laser- inscribable grades, highly heat-stabilised grades, oil and hydrolysis resistant grades and physiologically harmless grades. Grades for tribological applications with MoS2, PTFE, graphite and silicone. Coloured grades are also fundamentally possible, insofar as the individual material components will permit this.
